Repeat48
Repeat48 series represents an application engineered electrical-optical-electrical media converters for 3G/HD/SD-SDI or AES10/MADI signals. It converts video or digital audio between coaxial and optical connections.
Repeat48 range consists of two devices – Repeat48 and Repeat48 WDM. Both units can be populated with up to 12 dual channel 3G/HD/SD-SDI or AES10/MADI modules and SFP fiber optic transceivers at the time of manufacturing.
Repeat48 WDM is additionally equipped with built-in passive multiplexing and/or de-multiplexing WDM, CWDM or DWDM modules. It can be equipped with up to 16 simplex LC fiber ports for external WDM, CWDM or DWDM connectivity as well as 3rd party fiber protocols connectivity.
It also may be equipped with a built-in redundant power supply with an automatic switchover.
Repeat48 can be used as multi-channel point-to-point system where video channels are transported on the multicore fiber cable or even single fiber when WDM version is deployed. It can be also used as standalone media converter with 3rd party converters or as a stagebox working together with the Route66 routing system.
